• Birthdays do not allow ANY participants under the age of 6; certain time slots cannot allow participants younger than 9. These age limits are for safety reasons and are non-negotiable.

Our age limits are strict (no exceptions) for safety reasons, and, as a secondary factor, to preserve the experience of your group. All participants ages 5 and under require 1:1 supervision from an adult and have different needs/ability levels, so we cannot include them as a party participant.  Youth under 9 are still developing risk assessment skills and comprehension of potential consequences, so in some facilities we only book birthdays for kids 6-8 during quieter times, or using spaces where we can better manage the risks of climbing (this varies by location). 

The age of the youth on the day of the party determines whether they are old enough to attend. We can’t make exceptions for one kid or family because you are all special to us and we can’t play favourites! We understand this can be frustrating for folks; please don’t take it out on our staff. You’re welcome to speak to a manager 🙂
